Who we need
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, we are adding an HR Coordinator to our team to spearhead special projects and support the HR function. As we undergo a nation-wide, organizational transformation, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team, with the training, support, and freedom to be creative, solve problems and see the contribution you make to the company.
Who you are
You have 1+ years of experience working as an administrator or coordinator, and you want to focus your career in HR. You want to join a national organization undergoing an exciting period of transformation and be part of a bigger team.

What you will focus on
Data management. Your initial work will focus on data maintenance and integrity. You will be responsible for the general maintenance of human resources information system (HRIS), learning management system (LMS), and HR shared drive/e-files. You will ensure correct and accurate information is entered into the systems on time. You will coordinate with other teams, including marketing, communications, learning and development to provide data integrity support.
HR administration. You will support the team with HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, general administrative support, and responding to employee inquiries submitted in-person or through our Tier 1 support desk. You will be called upon to provide support for benefits administration, payroll review and processing, etc.,
Supporting recruitment efforts. You will assist in the full-cycle recruiting process by posting job ads, occasionally receiving and reviewing resumes, responding to candidate inquiries, and conducting reference checks. You may be asked to help with scheduling and conducting interviews on occasion. You will contribute to the implementation of best practices for all-round candidate experience.
What you bring
The education. A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management. You have, or you are interested in pursuing HR certification.
The experience. You have HR administration and coordination experience, ideally with hands-on exposure to data management. You can process forms and analyze data.
The relationship building skills. You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You know how to work with any level of internal client.
The passion. You want to grow your career in HR – helping to build and nurture a winning culture in a trusting environment.
The technical skills. You have hands-on experience with MS Office and you may have exposure to an HRIS system. You enjoy learning new technologies and tools quickly.
The personality. You are incredibly organized, approachable, energetic, enthusiastic, curious, and fun. You are a team player, a collaborator, and an independent thinker.
The flexibility. You are happy to jump in where needed.
Additional must-have requirements. You have a driver's license, a clean criminal background check, are bondable and flexible to travel on rare occasions as needed.
