We are looking for an Operations Manager to join the team to manage various aspects of our Vancouver operations, from production to shipping. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded person with the rare mix of analytics and interpersonal skills to succeed in a rapidly growing company and division where the right answers have yet to be discovered!

Areas of Responsibility

Recruit, organize, supervise and manage Operations teams
Define the procedures for producing and shipping orders from varying product lines, with a focus on continuous improvement
Improve the growth of business processes and systems of the Vancouver unit to replicate Goodfood best practices
Collaborate with Inventory and Shipping teams to solve shared problems and find innovative solutions to optimize the coexistence and integration of two product lines
Create processes for packaging and/or shipping independent of Goodfood’s dinner operations
Monitor and analyze the costs and operational performance of the Vancouver business unit
Liaise between East and West Business Units on new program launches and operations

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

Skills & Capabilities

2-5 years of consulting, finance, manufacturing or startup experience, preferably related to food and/or beverage production or processing
Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, or any relevant major)
Strong knowledge of Excel, data manipulation and analysis
Effective communication skills (verbal and written) in French and English
Exceptional time and project management capabilities
Ability to take initiative in a dynamic and ever-changing work environment
Advanced MS Office or equivalent skills
People management experience is an asset
Food manufacturing and shipping experience is an asset
