As sales specialist you will generate new business opportunities by prospecting property management companies, leasing managers, landlords, and REIT’s in Ontario with the focus on Toronto & GTA. You’ll learn how to identify and research companies to target, and how to develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities. You will conduct high-level conversations with senior executives about their business, their target audience and their goals. The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated individual who is goal-oriented, persistent, and can effectively interact with a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business development outreach via emails, social networks, and phone calls
  • Meetings with real estate professionals and companies to pitch
  • Reach out to property management companies to have them list their properties on
  • Finding real estate communities, groups, or events to promote
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients through monthly on site visits
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
  • Daily contact over the phone and in person with prospects and existing clients to promote the value of our advertising space
  • Identify and capture new business through cold calling and in person meetings
  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities
  • Prospect by driving around mapping apartment buildings in different neighbourhoods
  • Reengage former clients
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
  • Weekly scrum meetings to toss around business development strategies

Background / Skills

  • Passionate about real estate with an interest in technology
  • Experience with high call volume sales
  • You love learning and improving yourself
  • The ability to write quick succinct, crisp emails and a great phone manner
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in sales
  • Has experience working within the residential rental space in Toronto
  • A team player, hard-working, passionate, enthusiastic and confident
  • Prior sales or business development experience
  • Strong social skills and Communication skills
  • Strong research and organizational skills
