Midfield is currently seeking a passionate and motivated Account Manager who is a knowledgeable brand-marketing strategist that values creative thinking, client service, hard work and believes in team efforts.

As a key member of our Accounts Team, you will be responsible for collaborating with Creative, Digital, Social and Production Teams to craft creative brand engagement strategies that exceed client expectations.

From research to activation, we will look to you and your accounts team, to develop the fun concepts, experiences and touch points which will get our clients noticed. You will also hold the key responsibility of nurturing and evolving client relationships at Midfield and most importantly, the job of mentoring our developing talent, challenging them to learn and grow.

Job Overview

  • Be the prime Midfield contact for a Client Account; manage a portfolio of Clients
  • Develop client intimacy and a strong, effective, business relationship within each account
  • Set annual objectives to develop and grow respective accounts
  • Be accountable for the delivery of goods or services to assigned Accounts
  • Clearly understand the scope of deliverables; support and control delivery performance
  • Create client project plans for control and reporting
  • Constantly monitor and control financial performance; actual vs. planned project margin
  • Establish program benchmarks & KPIs
  • Develop and perform client communication plans as required
  • Report appropriately to the Client on project progress
  • Report and conduct Post Project Reviews with Clients as appropriate
  • Ensure all internal Midfield tasks to close out a project are complete
  • Solicit new business opportunities from assigned Accounts
  • Develop and author new business proposals for clients consistent with Midfield standards
  • Determine the best approach to present proposals and solicit the appropriate internal resources to close new business
  • Be the Account Champion within Midfield
  • Always ‘be of service’ to internal and external project stakeholders
  • Balance the interests of the Client versus Midfield
  • Identify and manage risk (Internal & External)
  • Escalate as appropriate unresolved issues
  • Lead internal project reviews with senior Midfield management
  • Be tuned into social and industry trends, actively seeking to provide our agency and clients with new, innovative and out-of-the-box ideas and opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working in an creative accounts role (brand or agency)
  • Relevant University or College education – Or equivalent
  • A demonstrated ability to creatively apply your skills to various media and mediums
  • Must possess a working knowledge of program planning in an agency setting
  • You have to be IN; Intelligent & Nice

Nice to have skills:

  • Digital engagement experience
  • Social Media strategy experience
  • Design experience
  • Bilingualism
  • Medium to expert level foosball skills

Location:

Midfield operations are based in Dundas, Ontario.
