Job description • Plan, direct and coordinate activities (projects) to design electrical distribution and modification of electrical distribution equipment (25kV or less) and the continuous improvement of performance and reliability; • Participate in key activities related to the engineering of the new plant (power distribution) during construction, startup and operation (projects and maintenance) in on time and on budget is allowed to him in accordance with its responsibilities; • Ensure compliance plans and related to construction of the new factory specifications meet the requirements and objectives of ARGEX well as standards; Role and Responsibilities • Extensive practical experience in design, installation and commissioning of electrical distribution systems, 25kV, 600V and less • Ensure compliance plans and related to construction of the new factory specifications meet the requirements and objectives of ARGEX well as standard in place. • Leveraging your expertise, making technical recommendations in the plans and materials / equipment chosen ; • Play a key role in starting the process and auxiliary systems of the new plant; • Participate in the analysis and evaluation of solutions with respect to technical issues; • Participate in the management of all activities related to quality control, maintenance, prevention, maintenance, recommendations for equipment purchases and documentation as regards equipment and systems ; • Participate in maintaining a safe environment at all times and develop policies and procedures for health and safety for the plant; • Participate in establishing contacts and negotiate contracts with suppliers • Study the production process and collaborated with the others team member in order to correct the problem ; • Team working with the plant employees, suppliers and other parties; • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting regarding the results.
Skills & Requirements:
Qualification required • Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10-15 years’ experience • Good understanding of project management and mutual effects of work on other disciplines / fields / Production • Excellent knowledge of code “Building Code of Quebec, Chapter V, Electricity,” Canadian Code of electricity 21st, 2011 • Proficiency of planning and control method • Relevant experience in the chemical industry and in context startup process • Bilingual • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec • Mastery of the principles of classified areas and « arc flash – CSA Z462» • Knowledge of WHMIS program (Hazardous Materials Management) • Team Work
