Position Title: Planner

The Planner will support strategies aimed to bring world class customer service and delivery execution to our Commercial business. In addition, the Planner will be a key contributor in delivering technology solutions in the areas of routing, mobility, and performance measurement to our locations and their satellites.
Oversee the delivery execution to the end consumer for the Commercial business.
Manage the semi-annual maintenance of delivery routes for targeted plants to align delivery schedules with service levels and resources.
Create and analyze monthly performance metrics and take proactive measures to mitigate customer service issues. Report performance and plans for improvement to senior leadership.
Support the integration of new business into targeted plants and validate resource capacity to support the acquired activity.
Contribute to the annual budget process for staffing and ensure plants are aware of the budget details to successfully manage the business. Measure budget to actual performance, correlate large variances to service performance, and report significant gaps/challenges to leadership.
Provide analysis and support for programs aimed to drive continual improvement in supply chain execution.
Coordinate with fleet operations to address equipment needs.
Support key business initiatives related to providing technology solutions to field operations to simplify delivery execution (on the road and back office) and improve resource management and utilization, resulting in increased productivity.
Support implementation of routing software in the areas of configuration, training, data cleansing, and site readiness.
Work with IT to address system integration, scalability, and support requirements.
Facilitate the deployment of a mobile platform to all field locations for all delivery applications and analyze data outputs for opportunities to improve operations.
Develop tight integration between Infosys, the mobile platform, and the routing solution to simplify order management.
Collaborate with Operations leadership to implement best practices on the use of mobile technology with a focus on standardizing core business processes across the network.
Represent business operations and partner with technical leads from Infosys & IT to deliver simple solutions that provide value to field operations.
Drive the understanding of distribution key performance indicators (KPIs) at field locations and educate field managers on best practices to improve KPIs that lead to higher levels of productivity.
Establish a benchmarking system for field locations to compare themselves to their peers and understand areas for improvement.
Develop and manage a red flag warning system around distribution performance that proactively alerts field locations of potential issues.
Integrate data output from mobile and routing solutions into KPI reporting to aid field managers in the management of outside employee performance.
Support other department initiatives as needed.

Professional with interpersonal skills to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization.
Able to understand technical solutions, the systems that drive them and the impact to business processes.
Demonstrated performance in providing excellent customer service.
Education and Experience Required:
A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or a related field is required.
5+ years of experience with a minimum of 3 years in logistics or supply chain planning.
Experience with Infosys preferred but not required; Business Intelligence and other reporting engines a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel.
Familiarity with working in a decentralized operations environment.
