Looking for Assistant Manager to join our strong team. Opportunity can be for junior person looking to gain experience & progression opportunities in F&B management, as well as experienced person looking to join a great venue.
The right candidate will be a key member of our team and ensure the bar/pub operates smoothly, with sufficient stock and staff at all times. You must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a courteous demeanor with guests, as well as effectively make use of downtime and have strong leadership and personnel management skills. You will pay close attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of staff, as well as the financial success of the establishment.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities examples (but not limited too):
-Prepare weekly schedules for bartenders and serving staff to adequately cover all shifts. Provide for coverage in case of employee absence and adjust staffing as necessary to meet business demands.
-Monitor inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock is maintained and to prevent excess pours or abuse by staff. Prepare orders as needed.
-Oversee cleanliness of staff and physical bar/pub areas, paying special attention to possible health & safety code hazard.
- Review sales, cash and beverage costs, and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
