The Sr PM is a hands-on role that manages strategic projects and initiatives at Canada Goose. The Sr PM is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Enterprise Programs to the business using both agile and waterfall models. This is a key role, as we continue to build out the capabilities of Project Management within the organization. Responsibilities include creating and managing plans for the various programs and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver the projects as per plan. The ideal candidate will have experience in the retail and manufacturing industries.
Oversee planning, governance, reporting, direction and leadership for all phases of Enterprise Programs from development to delivery
Acts as a project manager, developing, planning, executing, controlling, documenting and closing projects
Partner with the business to help prioritize Enterprise program deliverables
Lead the development of the annual Program plan to support corporate strategic objectives
Oversee audit and compliance requirements for all projects
Report to Steering Committee and Executive Team as required
Coach and mentor Project Managers
Help build out Project Management capabilities in business
Work on special projects and tasks as required
Experience, Education and Designations:
Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
PMP or related certification
7+ years of experience as a Enterprise Technology Program Manager
Led projects in the retail and manufacturing industries
Advanced computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Project Management, ERP, PLM and Defect Management software
