Nest Wealth is Canada’s largest independent digital wealth management platform, offering both direct-to-investor and advanced business-to-business solutions. It’s an exciting time, as we are experiencing significant growth and all we need to continue to win is to expand our Enterprise sales team with an ambitious and collaborative Sales Development Rep. You will play a critical role in building the sales pipeline and be entrusted with identifying and creating new qualified sales opps for the outside sales team.

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative who is a self-starter, eager to learn and who doesn’t shy away from big goals. This role is an integral part of the Nest Wealth enterprise sales team and provides essential support to the overall revenue function. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Sales, you will work with our sales team to proactively source new revenue opportunities, follow up on inbound leads and help grow the Nest Wealth digital wealth footprint.

What you’ll do:
Evangelize! you will passionately share your belief in the Nest Wealth product suite with every potential customer.
Solution selling: sales in the software and tech industry
Active Listening: requires someone who can listen well
EQ: understand what a potential customer’s needs are
Innovative: coordinate/ offer solutions that help customers solve the(ir) problem.
Craft. You’ll need to craft your approach and your prospect pipeline creatively and delicately. You’ll proactively qualify B2B clients and partners while continuously nurturing new and existing supportive relationships with clients, channel partners and colleagues.
Be curious. You are naturally inquisitive and drawn to help solve and innovate customer solutions.
Track. Leads, pipeline developments and sales efforts in the CRM system (HubSpot). You are detail and process oriented which leads to your success.
Build. You will build our business (and your skills) by following up on all inbound leads and sales inquiries building lists of prospects, potential partners and resellers using LinkedIn and Hubspot.
Collaborate. It’s the only way we work. We won’t explain it here. You’ll experience it the minute you step into our office.
Drive. You will work with the sales and marketing team to identify and generate large-scale enterprise opportunities. From analyzing prospect lists to refining targeted messaging, you will reach out and peak interest via emails, social and telephone.
Close. You will use your experience in complex problem solving combined with your winning attitude to close opportunities big and small.

An organized and professional approach. From using a CRM meticulously (and passionately), following a methodology, and balancing and prioritizing calls and emails, you understand how to present ideas and influence decision makers.
The motivation to work autonomously - and succeed. From cold calls to follow up on warm leads. From referrals to research. You resourcefully find the hidden and not so hidden prospects and pursue them relentlessly.
An appreciation for collaboration. You may be competitive in nature but you have a deep appreciation for the team you work with.
A genuine and charismatic personality. You believe that sales is about relationship building. Your approach gains the trust of a client at any level from IT Tech to CEO and invites conversations.

The Nice to Haves?
2-3 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in Enterprise SAAS sales
Experience in high-volume inbound & outbound sales prospecting
Previous experience or strong familiarity with the investment industry, IIROC Dealers and Portfolio Management firms
Previous experience with financial planning software
Familiarity and experience with Hubspot

Process: The Company is growing fast in all aspects, which is great. We are one of the Top 25 fastest growing private companies in Canada for the last 4 years. The hard part is that we don’t have the processes of a big company in place yet. We are counting on our people to help create that process, stand-up better efficiencies, and adjust quickly as we grow.
Challenges ahead: We have pivoted to where we see the best and biggest opportunity as an enterprise & B2B solution. This requires rigour, discipline and planning from the entire team as we address the functionality and features of our platform and like any pivots, there have been a few bumps in the road. We look for team members who love a challenge and are flexible with changes.
Transition: This is the key to our success and our ability to scale but there will be short-term challenges in making this transition. We are revisiting everything from operations, sales and marketing collateral, product roadmap, and the go-to-market plan - and calibrating it all to sync up with the strategy. That is a lot to do in a short period of time!
