SoCast is a sophisticated digital marketing platform built for the broadcast industry. Our unique website content management systems and mobile app solutions drive ad revenue, audience engagement and business intelligence for radio and television stations around the world.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Development Representative to fuel our continued growth. This individual will, under the guidance of the Director - Sales and Marketing, be responsible for identifying and generating new outbound sales opportunities, responding to inbound inquiries with the aim of converting these relationships into Sales Qualified Leads to grow the sales pipeline for the Sales Executives.
Sales Development Representative - Roles and Responsibilities
Research and discover new companies and contacts that could be interested in the platform
Contact the above through high volume cold calling, targeted emails, social selling and networking with professionalism, persistence and organization
Communicate our services clearly and present the solution features and benefits to prospects; be able to react to objections, competitive questions and other FAQs
Support Senior Sales Executives with discovery calls and product demonstrations to develop strong relationship foundations and help accelerate pipeline growth
Follow up and convert inbound leads to qualified sales opportunities for Senior Sales Executives
Report sales metrics to Senior Management to ensure company goal attainment
Manage prospects and data in the CRM
Support the nurturing of long-term opportunities and relationships in the sales pipeline
Support Marketing initiatives to help grow inbound opportunities and increase the company profile and awareness
Adhere to a clear and achievable progression plan over the first 12 months
Sales Development Representative - Who are you?
Passion for technically-oriented products, social media and all things digital
Energetic and outgoing personality with very strong communication, writing and listening skills

Responsive to a fault - need to keep on top of your Inbox
Experience navigating a sales CRM (Hubspot experience beneficial)
MS Office proficiency is an asset

Solid base salary with a pay-for-performance commission structure
$30k-$40k base salary depending on experience
OTE Year 1 of $50K+ and it's uncapped
