This position reports to the Body Shop Manager. They are responsible for assigning repair work to technicians and supervising workflow to complete vehicle repairs within target dates. Works closely with shop manager and technicians to promote good communication and efficiency. Communicates with customer for repair updates and notices of any delays. Documents repairs and communications. Performs Quality Control Inspections on every vehicle before being delivered to customer.


  • Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm and OT if needed.
  • Experience in a similar position is required to understand and manage all the operations necessary in the process of collision repair.
  • A high school education is required with post-secondary education in collision repair recommended.
  • Industry experience is critical. A good understanding of the vehicle repair and insurance processes are necessary to communicate effectively with the customer and technicians.
  • Continuing Education - As vehicle technology and repair techniques continue to evolve, on-going training is a must.
  • Effective computer and telephone skills are required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
  • Must maintain all required OH&S certifications, must ensure a safe workplace and are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
  • Must be able to provide valid NB driver’s license, drivers abstract and criminal background check

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical labour, ability to lift heavy objects , twist, turn, bend and stand for long periods of time without restriction
  • Busy, Noisy shop environment
  • Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
  • Hazards associated with the industry.
  • Must wear PPE and follow safety standards at all times
