Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior Consultant will support the design and execution of frontline performance measurement strategy and employee incentive campaigns, and provide analytical support to solve strategic business problems and identify opportunities. This role has an operation element and will also be accountable for the maintenance and operational enhancement of frontline employee campaigns to enable efficient and effective execution across PSB channels. This includes the strategy and execution of; campaigns and incentives, measurements, and standardization of reports.

The Senior Consultant will need to be able to convey complex ideas and information in an easy to understand manner, and demonstrate experience in creating presentation decks for an executive audience. The Senior Consultant will need to demonstrate advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, apply financial, product and project management disciplines, and have a clear understanding of the market, the competitive environment and the firm’s strategic priorities to provide value to the team.

How You’ll Succeed

Strategic Thinker - You have experience in providing insights to inform business decisions, forecasting and planning. You have experience in creating decks for an executive audience and conveying complex ideas in an easy to understand manner. Drive, manage and execute business initiatives as well as providing recommendations and best practices to solve strategic business problems
Highly Influential – You have highly-developed influencing skills / relationship building skills sufficient to implement change in situations involving performance measurement and strategy.
Business Intelligence Play an integral role in contributing to the development of business intelligence, an integrated view/plan for data & analytics, metrics & measurements, and controls that will be used in reporting identified metrics at multiple levels within CIBC. Help define business and process requirements and manage deliverables against business partner expectations and time sensitive deadlines
Strong Partner – You will develop change management strategies and maintain open, collaborative lines of communication to ensure awareness of requirements and impacts. You will gather critical information on the various management techniques/ issues/concerns, strategic priorities, business challenges and specific project requirements to support the development of a winning value proposition.
Data Analytics – Provide decision-making support through financial analytical support and commentary, supply metric analysis on requests . On an ongoing basis look for opportunities to improve the timeliness and availability of data and analysis related to campaigns and pilots
