We are currently seeking new line cooks and prep cooks and to join our team. The successful candidate will be joining a winning team creating our signature meals in a great environment. Known for our food and our people, Pump Hospitality Group restaurants are looking for individuals with great attitudes, experience in foodservice and a commitment to impeccable food execution and presentation. We have four restaurants in Mississauga including Clarkson Pump & Patio, Erin Mills Pump & Patio, Pump House Grille Co, and Papa Giuseppe's and Brant Pump & Patio located in Burlington. Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

-Prepare basic components of each menu dish using our proven recipes

-Memorize and use our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen

-Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleanliness standards

-Work with a team of cooks to do prep work for other shifts when needed

-Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant

Skills:

- Positive attitude and focus on customer service

-Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day

-High level of professionalism

-Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment

-Excellent verbal communication and organization skills

-Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00 to $18.00 /hour
