Bureau Veritas is looking for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Sales team

Your main responsibilities are:
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Business Development, the Sales Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support to the Business Development team and coordination of numerous client events.
Provide overall administrative support to the Regional Business Development Manager, including, minute taking, expense reports and monthly reporting;
Co-ordinate all aspects of customer events and trade shows;
Update and maintain Sales Data Information system, including generation of weekly reports, input of sales notes and assignment of client accounts;
Co-ordinate pricing approval process, including booking bid desk meetings, co-coordinating signatures, etc.
Print, bind, photocopy and upload proposals;
Represent the organization in a professional manner at various events;
Replace the receptionist when requested and welcome customers and visitors at the reception desk with courtesy and expertise;
Respond to telephone requests from customers as well as those routed through our website Complete service quotes and follow-up on status;
Assist with the preparation and analysis of bids and ensure their follow-up;
Assist external sales representatives in the preparation of offers of services;
Generate prospect lists and follow-up on leads;
Assist in the organization and participate in marketing programs / customer events;
Compare and communicate internally relevant information about the market, customers, and competitor strategies;
Other support duties, as assigned by your immediate superior.

You are the ideal ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT if:
DEC or bachelors in administration or science;
Previous experience in administrative support, customer service or sales;
You have previous experience in event planning (preferred);
You are extremely organized, have exceptional time management skills and have the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision;
You have exceptional communication and writing skills;
Mastering French and English languages; written and spoken;
You possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
Knowledge of LIMS is an asset;
You are self-motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Good record keeping skills and attention to detail;
