SHIFT/ TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
Full time 35 hours/week
December: Tuesday - Saturday
January - November: Sunday - Thursday
Plan events: food drives, fundraising
Complete grant applications and reports
Data entry and using Salvation Army computer systems
Schedule and train volunteers
Specifically co-ordinate Christmas Kettle volunteers
Maintains confidentiality and keeps accurate client files and statistical records
Networks and refers to The Salvation Army, government and community social service providers to coordinate resources for the benefit of clients and program, when necessary
Will be involved in Sunday church activities.
Performs other duties as assigned by Officer
Knowledge of the Salvation Army
Willingness and ability to serve with our mission and values
Completion of high school, plus specialized courses of at least six (6) months
One year but less than three years of prior related experience
The ability to listen attentively, work well with others, take direction, problem solve and learn and work well with computer programs
