We’re looking for a DevOps administrator to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Richmond Hill office.

Why we need you: -

You will support the building, configuration and maintenance of tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. In addition, you would help assess new technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, automating the daily activities with SaltStack and helping to transition to Jenkins pipelines.

You will need to resolve issues in our Dev, QA/UAT and Production environments for Casino development projects.

Who are we looking for: -

You’ll have scripting knowledge and experience with both Linux OS’s/Windows along with command line tools as you’ll be maintaining build plans and shell scripts. You’ll have great attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks throughout the workday.

Experience with deploying builds and troubleshooting issues is important as you’ll be maintaining and updating Confluence pages

As the ideal candidate, you will have: -

You have experience or at least exposure to the following technologies:

Messaging middleware. Specifically, Kafka and RabbitMQ
SQL in general and PostgreSQL, MySQL specifically (NoSQL experience, such as Cassandra, Redis and MongoDB is a plus.)
TSDB (InfluxDB, Prometheus, Clickhouse) and ElasticSearch
Cloud services (experience with AWS would be nice)
Linux development toolchain (i.e. rpm, yum)
Automation/configuration management using either Salt, Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent
Monitoring tools such as TICK stack, Prometheus, ELK stack
Strong knowledge of Jenkins structure and uses
Git and versioning software
Build systems (Apache Ant/Mode/Maven)
