Located in the heart of the city’s downtown area, it is the largest bilingual college in North America. It has six specialty schools, offering more than 60 programs: Fashion, Arts, and Design; VFX & Game Design; Hotel Management and Tourism; Business and Technologies; Humanities and Social Sciences as well as e-learning programs.

Reporting to the Admissions Office, the incumbent’s role is to establish business relationships and partnerships with various stakeholders in the Quebec education community, including guidance counselors in high schools and representatives of professional associations and cultural communities.

The Partnerships & Events Coordinator must have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate’s background should demonstrate a penchant for partnership development.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Develop a strategic plan and implement an action plan that will enable LaSalle College to position itself appropriately in secondary schools, particularly through school visits;
Collaborate with school stakeholders to determine the best ways to present LaSalle College’s programs in an informative and motivational manner;
Build and maintain business relationships with guidance counselors and representatives of professional associations and cultural communities while acting as LaSalle College’s primary contact person for high school guidance counselors who have questions about our programs or their referred students’ files;
Consistently implement best practices to promote our programs of study and inspire future students;
Plan and organize various events related to student recruitment (National Education Fair, open houses, career fairs, virtual workshops, etc.) to stimulate potential students’ interest in our institution and our programs while recommending them to cultural communities and professional associations;
Collaborate with the marketing department to develop communication tools for guidance counselors, including a periodic newsletter;
Build and maintain a CRM database of high schools and guidance counselors and use it to record recruitment activities and their impact;
Measure the performance of certain key indicators, prepare analytical reports based on CRM and statistical reports;
Perform all other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (B.B.A.) or Education (B.Ed.) or any other related discipline;
Training or experience as a guidance counselor;
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
Bilingual in spoken and written English and French;
Experience in the educational field is a plus;
Must be available some evenings for special (intermittent) events.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
