What we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Jr Marketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience with social media, digital marketing, content creation and be able to work both independently as well as in a team. They should be able to meet deadlines and have great time management skills, a friendly telephone manner for support purposes and excellent written and verbal communication skills. We have a great family oriented culture and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with our team.

Role responsibilities:

Assist with website content including monitoring, blogging, and unique content development

Help develop new strategies designed to increase audience engagement, strengthen brand loyalty and drive purchases

Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.) including daily monitoring, posting, answering inquiries, and content development

Creating custom campaigns and strategies

Running advertising campaigns on a variety of platforms

Creating reports to be shared with clients

Represent each client's brand in a respectful and friendly manner

Create interesting and engaging newsletters

Assisting the Director of Marketing & Communications as well as additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1+ years’ (preferred) experience in digital marketing, communications, newsletter, copywriting and/or brand management

Experience running Facebook/ Instagram Ads

Experience with Google Ads

Experience creating dynamic campaigns and strategies for clients

A thorough understanding of social media business accounts and pages, metrics, and reporting

Advanced technology skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs and the ability to quickly learn new technologies

Ability to multitask and handle multiple brands

Detail-oriented & self-motivated

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal

Open to learning new skills and taking on new tasks

Own laptop

Own transportation to work

University degree or college diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field
