We're looking for an inspired and collaborative Marketing Technology Specialist to drive the development of our strategy, tools and tactics for our B2B SaaS lead generation efforts.

The Kudos Marketing Technology Specialist will be responsible for search engine optimization, customer segmentation, paid search, social media, paid media, email marketing, lead generation, database management and website optimization. Your focus is on developing seamless marketing and selling experiences that allow you to gather insights, iterate and fine-tune strategy and tactics to attract and identify the best quality leads, improve sales funnel conversions and shorten the days to close.

As the ideal candidate, you will first and foremost be a technologist, made up of one-part IT guru and one-part integrated marketing expert. You will be work closely with our internal creative team, sales and account management teams to create a best-in-class marketing machine and customer experience. You will be passionate about technology, marketing and problem-solving. You have strong communication skills, a tenacity for fast-paced environments, disruptive sales strategies, website development, marketing automation, online marketing, and social media marketing skills. You live to improve and streamline everything you touch. You are detail-oriented, patient, and are able to manage multiple projects at once effectively.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Lead the online marketing strategy, budgeting, forecasting, campaign development, deployment, and management
  • Manage marketing campaigns that will generate qualified sales opportunities, build brand awareness, and drive relevant traffic to our website
  • Work closely with business development to understand business objectives and prospects’ needs, issues, and goals to better understand how to attract and win our ideal prospects
  • Serve as the power-user and internal product evangelist for a variety of digital tools assisting marketing, sales and customer service in using and mastering each tool as part of customer experience management
  • Collaborate with internal marketers, graphic designers, technical team members, and UX/UI designers to develop and deploy marketing campaigns, improving sales and supporting efficiency
  • Measure and report on performance for all digital marketing campaigns, and assess performance against goals

Internal Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Work with other team members to develop, refine, and implement web site updates, campaigns, online marketing material and prospect/client communications
  • Work with other team members to help develop and improve departmental strategies

Desired Skill Set and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in communications, marketing and/or technology
  • 5+ years’ experience as a technology or demand gen marketing specialist
  • Comfortable working with multiple technology platforms and channels with an eye towards new and emerging trends and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze campaigns and pipeline metrics with a focus to optimize and improve performance
  • Previous experience with team management, mentoring other marketing team members and working closely with IT, sales, designers and design partners
  • Strong understanding of search engine optimization & marketing, web traffic
  • Strong understanding of pay-per-click campaign management (Capterra, LinkedIn Sponsored Content, Google Ads, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Experience with multi-touch email nurturing and lead generation campaigns
  • Proficient on Mac, Google Suite, MS Office and/or iWork
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • You have good business instincts, and understand analytics and reporting
  • You are comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
