The Qwest Estate in Creston, BC is licensed and operating 26,000 square feet of cultivation space producing the widely championed, rare cultivar-focused brands Qwest and Qwest Reserve. These products sell in five provinces across Canada.

Thunderchild Cultivation, an 80,000 square foot indoor cultivation facility in Battleford, SK will be completed and licensed in 2020.

The Plant, Westleaf’s extraction facility, has 15,000 square feet of Health Canada licensed extraction and product development space. This production house will fuel the growth of the Qwest, Qwest Reserve, BlendCraft by Qwest and General Admission, into new and innovative product formats like vapes, concentrates, edibles and beyond.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Sales Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the internal sales support function for the Westleaf team and provide customer service for our retail accounts and consumers.

This is also internal sales role where you will be at the forefront to help grow our business with existing and new accounts. This position will require exceptional relationship building and communication skills, proven administration experience and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Sales Administration will form a large component of this role, comprising data management, creation of sales collateral and listing of new products.

The ideal candidate is highly proactive and excels in a fast paced and dynamic environment and thrives on the challenge of building strong relationships, providing exceptional customer support and is enlivened by the concept of contributing to an organization in a new and cutting-edge industry.


Your responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Build and manage relationships and develop strong rapport with customers, retail buyers, management and the greater Westleaf team.
  • Follow up on leads provided by company, generated through trade shows, our Territory Sales Representative, digital marketing, cannabis retailers etc.
  • Processing invoices, submitting expenses, reviewing the budget, monthly reconciliations and following-up on discrepancies
  • Assist in customer sampling programing and processing for the Sales team
  • Work in conjunction with Marketing to ensure market tools (sell sheets and POS) are relevant to program, relevant to customers and arrive on time to ensure flawless execution
  • Collaborate and align with cross functional teams in supply and project management to build the route to market for innovation and new packs
  • Gather, submit and track all product submissions for pricing, display and programming
  • Create and maintain a library of processes/checklists and work closely with cross functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and the Plant) to enable sustainable and timely execution with customers
  • Be the touch point for our customers and retail accounts for orders, account queries and quality support
  • Build a prospect list through research and networking.
  • Mine sales data to identify incremental opportunities with our retail partners

  • Daily maintenance of CRM tool, managing our inventory supplies and ordering platform.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of our brand, products, and technologies.
  • Maintain expert level knowledge of our competitors’ products and brand positions.
  • Grow our community profile by representing company at trade/industry events to promote products.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.


  • 2+ years of relevant professional sales experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and present ideas
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of various company products
  • Proven ability to position our products against competitors
