Job Introduction
A Division of Magna, Polycon Industries is a World Class supplier of automotive parts. Polycon moulds, paints, assembles and sequences automotive products to OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
PAY RATE: $39.78/Hr (after probationary period)

Major Responsibilities
Controls & Automation Technician experience an asset
Must have strong knowledge of PLCs, robot and HMI programming
Proven experience performing electrical/electronic troubleshooting of equipment
Must be capable of interpreting and designing electrical schematics
Must have proven ability and experience completing electrical installation work including: control wiring, conduit, power wiring and mcc work
Demonstrated skill in technical documentation
Proven mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with Fanuc, Sepro and ABB Robotics
Must be computer literate with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Must be results and team oriented
Must be safety conscious and reliable
Knowledge and Education
Provincial Electricians Ticket (309A or 442-A)
Grade 12 English and Math or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience as an Industrial Electrician
Work Experience
PLC, Robot & HMI programming, implementation and troubleshooting
Preventative maintenance of Injection/RIM assembly automation and paint systems
Repair of equipment, modify robot programs when required
Design, verification and maintenance of electrical schematics
Assist in setting up and maintaining programming, electrical component and schematics standards
Assist in proper maintenance of all programming software and application files and programming hardware
General Electrical duties
Completion of all required work orders and associated paperwork
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment
Shift Premium of $0.45/hr (Afternoons) and $.75/hr (Nights)
Overtime after 40 hrs per week
2 weeks of vacation pro-rated from start date plus 4 Personal Paid Holidays, 9 Paid Holidays
