The successful candidate will have experience with managing teams who have sold mobility, communications or technology solutions to Business or Government customers. Working in partnership with a number of cross-functional teams within BCE, you will be accountable for delivering the business plan for the Public Safety and Instant Communications team.
In this role, you will be leading a world-class team of specialists focused on delivering innovative connectivity-centric solutions to public safety, government and business customers. As the strategic leader for Public Safety and Instant Communications team, you will be accountable for the increasing Bell’s share in the British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario market. This includes managing all aspects of sales cycle with the support of a team of national pre-sales engineers and solution consultant teams. A strong sales cadence and forecasting will be a prime skill-set to enable success.

Job Duties/ Accountabilities:
Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Representatives.
Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Conducts one-on-one review with all Sales Representatives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Sales Representatives’ sales and activity performance.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Assists Sales Representatives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Recruits, tests, and hires Sales Representatives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Insures that all Account Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes (sales cycle).
Sets examples for Sales Representatives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Sales Representatives to build motivation and selling skills.
Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Key Deal / RFP Management through direct and indirect resources.
Minimum 5 years Sales Management experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to influence and negotiate
Experience with Leadership Development and Change Management
Valid driver’s licence
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
