Post-secondary students hired from this process will be considered for a variety of temporary or permanent, part-time or full-time positions after completing their degree.

The starting wage you make will depend on your current academic program.

College and related co-op/internship $19.45/hr

University undergraduate and related co-op/internship $21.64/hr

Who can apply

Open to full-time Indigenous* post-secondary students attending an accredited institution and who will be returning to full-time** studies in the next academic term.

  • Indigenous person is a North American Indian or a member of a First Nation, a Métis or an Inuit. North American Indians or members of a First Nation include status, treaty or registered Indians, as well as non-status and non-registered Indians. Only those candidates who self-identify as Indigenous (as per the definition above) will be screened into this staffing process.
**Indigenous students enrolled in studies on a part-time basis due to a disability that is recognized by their academic institution are also eligible to apply.

Non-Canadians living in Canada with a work visa can apply to the ISEP inventory; however, preference will be given to Canadian citizens. Please indicate your citizenship status on your Candidate profile.

If you are a post-secondary student you will eventually be asked to provide the following documentation:

For summer positions:
Proof that you will be returning to school full-time at a recognized post-secondary institution for the term immediately after the work term.

For all other positions:
Proof of full-time enrolment at a recognized post-secondary institution for the school term immediately before (or during) the work term.

If you have a disability recognized by your school that prevents you from attending full-time, proof of your part-time enrollment will be required.

You are not required to have previous work experience to apply.

Some positions may be staffed based on your current field of study or if you have experience or interest in a particular field or job. For example students enrolled in accounting or auditing programs may be given preference when those jobs are being staffed.



The essential staffing requirements indicated below will be assessed during the process and may be used to identify candidates for positions. Asset staffing requirements may also be assessed during the staffing process and may be used to identify candidates for positions. You will be notified in advance of any asset requirements to be evaluated.
