This role will be based in our Mississauga, Ontario, Canada office outside of Toronto.

Responsibilities for a Site Reliability / SysOps Administrator:

Build and support cloud infrastructure and automation in collaboration with multiple software teams
Support physical hardware as part of a hybrid cloud including rack/stack/cable management work
Use automation to change the economics of the business with highly available, elastic, maintainable solutions
Respond rapidly to find and fix production issues on complex interrelated systems
Provide on-call technical support for production issues in rotation with other team members
Collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels of technical skill
Optimize the cost and effort needed to operate legacy systems
Build, tune and operate Kubernetes environments
Create and support CD pipelines with multiple product teams on multiple technology stacks
Design and support data solutions for varying business needs including RDBMS, NoSql, Big Data, etc.
Maintain compliance with security standards and audit requirements
Clearly document infrastructure processes and tools, implement self-documenting solutions

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3+ years in cloud infrastructure automation
1+ years in a customer service role
Strong system administration experience managing Linux and Windows servers at scale including application servers such as IIS, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat
Deployment automation experience (CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.)
Strong communication and negotiation skills, verbal and written
Strong coding and scripting experience (Go, Python, bash, AWS CLI, etc.)
Experience with infrastructure code management especially git and gitflow workflow
Log management and alerting experience (ELK, Splunk, CloudWatch, Sentry, etc.)
Metrics, Events and Alerts management experience (Grafana, CloudWatch, Nagios, Prometheus and equivalents)
Data lifecycle management including MySql, MSSql, Elasticsearch, MongoDB
Experience with infrastructure and security compliance standards like PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO
Experience in an Agile SDLC environment using Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Estimation, Grooming, Prioritization
Experience in email management including Sendmail, Postfix, AWS SES, Exchange, Office365 in automated solutions at scale
Experience with authentication systems using 2FA, OAuth, SAML, LDAPS
Strong network design and management skills at multiple layers including AWS VPC, IPSEC, segmentation, NAT, Load Balancing, DNS, FTPS, SMTP, LDAP, HTTPS
Experience with a variety of AWS services including EC2, S3, SQS, SES, RDS, Aurora, CloudWatch, CloudTrails, CloudFormation
Experience serving multiple stakeholder teams across many locations, managing priorities, and adapting to change

Preferred Qualifications:
Infrastructure certifications from AWS, Microsoft, Red Hat, CompTIA, Cisco
Security certifications from SANS, ISC2, CompTIA, Offensive Security
Previous success in AWS migration especially with .NET
Experience in large scale highly automated environments
