What we’re looking for:
The Vice President of Business Development, under the direction of the President, is responsible for driving sales to every current and potential market with an emphasis on servicing National Accounts Manufacturers, their dealers and the automotive aftermarket industry.
This individual is responsible for achieving quarterly/annual sales goals, developing distribution channels, building strategic business relationships, and providing vision for all sales strategies and their execution. The VPBD is also responsible for containing the costs of selling in order to achieve predetermined profit yields. The VPBD will reach their business targets through effective management and physical visits to customers. This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers by providing high level customer service while continually maintaining the culture of the company.

Top Line Revenue Growth. Nimble and strategic Sales and Customer Relationship Management.
Account Management. Build, listen and maintain strong relationships and grow business with existing national and strategic clients, while continually prospecting and selling to new potential clients in all target markets.
Profitability. Achieve established profit targets through revenue growth, expense control, and margin management.
Reporting. Complete accurate and on-time reporting of key performance metrics. As established for sales and prospecting activity, through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas and participation and leadership of Canadian Energy’s Customer Relationship Management software.
Communicate. Collaborate with corporate leadership and team on best practices, customer wins, new opportunities, and competitive developments.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience (MBA preferred).
Technical background, with experience in the automotive and automotive aftermarket industries.
Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
Professional demeanor, selling style and appearance.
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
Excellent listening skills.
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Experience with customer relationship management software.
Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
Experience in the automotive industry
