The Manager, Brand Production will lead out on Herschel Supply’s production strategy to bring best-in-class campaigns to life through photo & video projects. This leadership position is responsible for managing the production process with our in-house studio and external contractors, providing mentorship and development along the way.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
On a day-to-day basis, the Manager, Brand Production will:
Lead production on all lifestyle photo and video projects from creative concept sign-off through to execution and delivery.
Plan and lead all aspects of the production process including shoot logistics, model casting, location scouting, licensing and agreements, communication and budget management.
Create and maintain relationships with departmental and cross-functional partners, advising and providing insight around production requests across the business.
Develop and monitor an annual budget for global lifestyle production.
Create and maintain relationships with locations, suppliers, agencies and contractors.
Hire external contractors for all production needs including, video support, editing and music composition.
Directly manage and mentor a team or producers, stylists and contractors providing direction and mentorship.
10 years of production experience in both photo and video with a brand or creative agency.
Bachelors degree or Diploma in Photography, Film, Marketing or relevant field.
A valid passport and ability to travel.
A driver’s license is required.
A positive outlook and desire to mentor and lead a crew of cross-functional team members.
Solid understanding of editing process and requirements.
Existing relationships with music composers or music licensing agencies an asset.
Resourceful problem solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
Highly organized and detail orientated.
Must be comfortable with an ever-changing, dynamic workload.
Comfortable in a team oriented environment, and able to support big picture
team and brand goals.
