Answer office phone and route all incoming calls;
Greet all clients and guests at reception;
Maintain inventory of office & kitchen supplies;
Distribution of all mail;
Process outgoing couriers;
Booking travel and accommodations for Ottawa staff;
Coordinate room bookings and catering for special events or meetings;
Assist the A/P and A/R clerk with light data-entry and other administrative tasks;
Assist in some repetitive office duties; and
Other duties as required.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
We’re flexible but these are a must:
Two years of experience in the financial industry;
Knowledge of office administration and procedures;
Basic knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controls;
Meticulous with detail;
Demonstrated time management skills;
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands;
High level of integrity and excellent work ethic;
Confidentiality concerning financial information;
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills;
Computer skills including Excel and other Microsoft applications;
Strong, polished, professional communication skills – “people person”; and
Team player with high energy, positive, “customer” friendly attitude.
Diploma in office administration or a related field considered an asset.
