As a member of our Infrastructure group, you will provide insight and innovative construction solutions to ensure the successful execution of various infrastructure projects, such as: roadways, highways and interchanges; bridges and overpasses; water and wastewater treatment facilities; transmission lines; general/public transportation including airports, seaports and light rail transit lines (LRTs); and conventional and alternative power generation like wind farms and district energy facilities. You will also further hone your skills operating under various delivery methods including Design-Build, P3 (Public-Private Partnership), Construction Management and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery).
About the Role
The Site Administrator reports directly to the Senior Project HSE Coordinator and will be responsible for assisting in paperwork for the Safety Coordinator & Safety Manager, filing, recording meeting minutes, and general office duties.
This role is based at our McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant in Victoria, British Columbia.
As a Site Administrator at Graham you will:
Focus on safety administration;
Organizing, developing meeting minutes;
Safety scheduling assistance;
Safety documentation auditing, completeness, etc.;
Feedback reports on audit findings;
Safety supplies inventory management;
Safety supply purchasing;
Administrative support of Leadership Engagement Program;
Collection and organization of daily safety documentation;
Safety presentation development;
Various reporting requirements on safety metrics;
Assist with contractor safety pre-qualifications;
Meeting minute taking and agenda preparation;
To be successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience:
High school graduate, Administration Diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of administrative experience
Prior document control experience within a Construction environment is considered an asset
Minimum of 50 WPM typing skills, with good formatting and grammatical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team environment
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented with the ability to problem solve
Strong computer and processing skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
