Position Title: Senior Infrastructure Specialist

Division: Technology & Operations

Department: Infrastructure Services

Reports To: Manager, Infrastructure Services

Salary Range: $83,761.60 - $92,892.80 (40 hours per week)

Location: Toronto, Yonge & Eglinton (on the Yonge subway line)

The Senior Infrastructure Specialist's accountability is to implement, maintain, and enhance technology infrastructures. The infrastructure is physical and virtual, on-premise, in the cloud, and at other third-party premises.
The accountability includes designing server, storage, network, virtual, and serverless environments and their integration with business applications. Business Applications can be external or internal facing. Security, sustainability, and data integrity are key elements of the design and implementation

Key Responsibilities

Strong background and experience with AWS, such as Fargate, Lambda, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeply, EC2, EBS, S3, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, and other core AWS technologies

Ability to implement secure infrastructure

Strong background in Windows Server systems administration

Strong background in RHEL/CentOS systems administration

Experience with Docker, ECS

Ability to build efficient scripts using Python, Perl, PowerShell, PHP

Experience with continuous deployment / continuous delivery tools

Experience with Cloud identity management, single sign-on (SSO) & directory synchronization with Azure Active Directory

Experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Web Session Authentication and Authorization

Experience with cloud databases and data warehousing (Azure SQL Server & Data Warehouse, AWS RDS, Redshift & Glue, etc.)

Experience with serverless frameworks and architectures.

Experience with containerizing legacy applications in the public cloud

Education & Certification

Degree in Computer Science or related field

AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

AWS Certified Solution Architect

AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator

Microsoft Certified Azure Developer

Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect

Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps
