In this role you will be performing business needs assessments, product demonstrations, leading whiteboard discussions, qualifying opportunities and proposal development to further drive growth and evolve of our products.

Here’s how

Collaborate with various stakeholders, understand business needs and know how to navigate through diverse domains of applications, infrastructure, privacy and security
Develop, secure support, implement and articulate a differentiated effective product strategy and tactics related to pricing, bundling, positioning, product lifecycle, placement, promotion, partnerships, channel compensation recommendations and service guidelines
Manage the market and financial performance of existing and/or new products (including Revenue, Customer deal criteria/standards, Operating Profit, Free Cash Flow, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Discounted Payback, and Return on Investment and accountability for P&L)
Develop, manage and optimize multiple end to end value chains with accountable sub-process owners: Lead timely resolution of production and service delivery issues; escalation of systemic customer issues; and major process changes with accountable sub-process owners
Use primary and secondary market research and competitive landscape research to recommend solutions to better support and/or reposition existing or new product offerings to cross-functional teams and/or senior leaders
Analyze and anticipate market, client, regulatory and technology trends; create business plans and present recommendations to senior leaders
In collaboration with the sales and business development team, identify new markets, identify appropriate partners in those markets and approach
Support negotiation and contract with target partners
Support sales teams, sales specialists and product team to advance and win new business opportunities
Lead and collaborate on cross-functional teams across all business units to manage margin, enable product/service delivery, improve methods to better support product, and support the delivery of integrated customer solutions
Develop, own and maintain a product roadmap and business requirements through the understanding of market, customer, regulatory and technology trends

Qualifications

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

Required Knowledge & Experience:
5-7 years of equivalent experience in product and project management with financial analysis and development of business strategy
Product management in a high tech environment
Client relationship management
Process design and solutioning in a complex environment
Familiarity with business contracts and legal terminology an asset
Knowledge of financial concepts including revenue, costs and profitability is a must

Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, project and process management skills, and the ability to lead cross functional teams in a matrix environment
Excellent communication and presentation, analytical skills, and ability to develop relationships with key internal and external contacts
Full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways; able to develop, maintain and optimize end to end value chains

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
University Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Finance
Great-to-haves

Knowledge of current TELUS or THPS operations, enablement functions, or product development practices is a strong asset
Experience in designing solutions for the Health Industry is a strong asset
Bilingual (French and English)
