Job Summary

This permanent position will commence with an operational rotation at one of Zenabis’s facilities for a maximum of three months, and will then be followed by the management of enterprise-level special projects focused on launching international partnerships and projects based out of the company’s headquarters in Vancouver, BC. Once based in Vancouver, BC, an individual in this role has the potential for meaningful travel for projects.

The ideal candidate would be diligent, action-oriented, and able to operate in a dynamic environment where they develop their own project plan and execute on that plan based on the intent of their superiors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing project work plans, timelines and milestones
  • Identifying changes to plans that may affect milestones including deliverables, risks and schedule
  • Serves as subject-matter expert to managers and directors
  • Liaise with the project team, clients, consultants and sub-contractors
  • Implements change based on proven change management techniques
  • Applies compliance knowledge to protect organization and mitigate risk
  • Identifies and reports trends to Senior Management
  • Negotiate supply and procurement contracts
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 3+ years of commercial and progressive project management experience managing medium to large-scale cross-functional project teams and projects with varying degree of complexity
  • Demonstrable success at project delivery in both short-term and long-term integrated projects
  • Demonstrated PM competencies: planning, budget and timeline management, scope management, risk management, timely decision making, effective team building
  • Excellent presentation skills - must be comfortable talking to teams upwards to C-level
  • Strong knowledge and passion about project management principles and practices
  • Budget and resource allocation management and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to think strategically and problem solve
  • Strong facilitation, consulting, relationship-building, influence, negotiation skills, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated business and analytical ability with a proven ability to build relationships and influence different groups
  • Demonstrated implementation and execution ability
  • Clear accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
