This is an on-site HR role, with lots of interaction with people and leaders throughout the mill. You will be providing support for hourly and salaried employees, as well as developing and coaching staff. Your extensive HR background will make you a perfect fit as you lead and mentor a small leadership team with many long-term employees. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be a key member of the divisional management team. You will be responsible for the administration and coordination of human resource activities throughout the operation, including management, and coordination of the Ability Management Program and facilitation and conflict resolution support at the division. This non-union, 100-year-old specialty mill that has increased immunity to market fluctuation, is looking for your personal touch!
In a perfect world, you have a diploma or degree in human resources as well as experience in managing OH&S and ability management programs (payroll, benefits, etc.). For bonus points, you have your human resources professional designation.
