POSITION TITLE: IT Analyst, DSD Systems
REPORTS TO: IT director – Sales/MARKETING/fINANCE/hr
LOCATION: 10 Four Seasons Place Etobicoke Ontario

Reporting to the IT Director –Sales/Marketing/Finance/HR, the Team Lead, Commercial Systems will actively participate in the support and enhancement of the Commercial Platform & DSD Mobile applications. This individual will be accountable for supporting the DSD Mobile and Web Ordering Solutions and will be the liaison with the User Community and business teams. In addition to that, they will participate and/or lead new initiatives including solution documentation, testing; is heavily involved with the execution of those projects and initiatives through change management, business process reviews, systems analysis, testing, training, education and implementation. Attention to quality and delivering customer satisfaction is vital. The IT Analyst, for DSD Solutions, must focus on adding value to the operation by identifying opportunities to further leverage systems and standardization to the advantage of the business.

Competencies:
Build and maintain highly effective relationships with key users, business and process owners throughout the company
Execute and deliver of short, medium and long term projects, initiatives
Support Key User Network and system users
Identify, present and recommend to IT Director and Team Lead business application and process improvements.
Involvement in setting and maintaining standard operating procedures for company wide deployment, in cooperation with IT Director and
Ongoing communications with Director with respect to value added initiatives and projects, with an eye toward identifying and leveraging opportunities.
Effective execution of activity base projects/initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, targets and deliverables are properly monitored and attained.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, and other documentation as required through Business solutions, projects and initiative execution.
Awareness of customer satisfaction levels with the ability to identify and raise issues with proposed solutions to Management Team.
Participate in regular post implementation reviews to ensure project charters are measured against actual deliverables, with a focus toward continuous process improvement.
Participate in regular facility / site visits with an eye toward in-depth understanding of operating unit requirements, challenges and issues.
Trouble shoot issues with application/process in order to adequately trigger/engage the right level of support as appropriate with our partners or other functional Leads/project, for quick resolution.
Can operate with little supervision in a complex environment.

Business Acumen

DSD Sales Model & Processes:
Sales Order Management
Sales Order process knowledge in Commercial Platform and Oracle
EDI orders & invoicing
Sales Reporting
DSD Mobile processes, including Handheld software & hardware
Logistics /Supply Chain execution

Requirements:
Post-secondary accreditation in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience.
4 – 5 years of DSD Business Experience with a solid track record with respect to support, project execution and team work in system improvement implementation.
4 - 5 years’ experience in Mobile and Web Application implementations in the Field Sales/Order to cash field including definition of testing scenarios, plan test activities and lead testing activities.
Experience in defining Business requirement and being able to articulate the Business Requirement to a technical team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task with effective time management.
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in an innovative and fast paced environment
Be committed to developing highly stable and quality driven products.
Passion for standard process implementation and DSD Processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills – approachable, friendly, with a sense of humor.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business environments, able to think ‘outside of the box’.
Proficient in MS Office, MS project tools.
Accreditation in project management disciplines considered an asset.
Provide after-hours emergency support in the event of a critical system failure.
Bilingual – English/French or English/Spanish is considered an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environment: Office environment, Associate is expected to work Monday to Friday and on call as needed

Travel Requirement: Travel will be required within the country and at times outside of Canada

Volume of work: A fast paced work environment with multiple, tight and changing priorities
