Electro-Mechanical Technician

Kemflo uses a wide range of thermoplastic resins including CPVC in its production as well as some specialty resins. Our capabilities enable us to work with a wide range of industries. We are known for designing specialty parts, pro-to-typing molding designs as well as post molding designs, allowing, us to provide our customers with a single complete service to see them from inception to through to market

Job Responsibilities:

  • Programming and troubleshooting of PLC and Robotics control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance & calibration programs & keep maintenance records
  • Set-up, install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Able to work with high voltage circuits
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Develop various fixtures and small machines
  • Complete routine paperwork as required


  • Must have Electro-Mechanical post-secondary diploma


  • industrial production electromechanical maintenance: 10 years (Required) Plastics would be viewed as an asset
  • Ability to read Blueprints
  • valid forklift license
  • crane operation
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, pneumatics, hydraulics
  • Wire and rewire up to 600 Volt electrical equipment
  • Knowledge of calibration


  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Working knowledge and experience in pneumatics & robotics
  • Working knowledge of PLC controls
  • Troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic control circuits


  • Forklift (Required)
  • Overhead Crane (Preferred)
