Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties:
Interaction of electrons and photons with matter. Imaging methods with electron microscopy, scanning probe techniques, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption analysis with high spatial resolution.

The instructor is required to follow the course syllabus previously developed for the course. Also required to use Avenue to Learn and is responsible for preparing midterms, assignments and final exam. In addition, the instructor is to perform online office hours at convenient times.

Required Qualifications:
M.A.Sc or equivalent is required in Engineering or related discipline. Applicants must have a thorough understanding of the course topics listed above, as well as demonstrated expertise teaching undergraduate courses.

  • Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
