As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be part of the LifeWorks Business Development team. The Inside Sales Representative will provide administrative sales support, prospecting activities / closing sales opportunities, and support the business development team with more complex sales (ex. with proposals, marketing activities, and client meetings).
Achieve financial & non-financial targets through targeted prospecting via phone and internet
Work collaboratively with other members of the Business Development team to identify growth opportunities and surpass collective targets
Initiating and maintaining contact with organizational prospects and/or third party advisors, delivering proposals and presentations
Providing research, editing and project management support to large proposals produced by the Regional Development team
Make outbound calls to warm leads (ex., from client marketing events) and dormant accounts to cultivate relationships that ensure long-term customer retention and future sales opportunities
Conduct research to understand market opportunities, understand client needs and consultatively engage clients with the most applicable solutions
Utilize the CRM to report regional sales activities, update client data, manage sales reporting and maintain an accurate forecast of regional sales opportunities
Providing administrative support to business generating activities across the region
Participating fully in National Sales Campaigns and regional conferences
Coordinating of sales events
Demonstrate superior time management skills to maximize revenue-generating activities, fulfill administrative requirements of the role and support team members;
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to influence and positively impact discussions with clients
Succeeding as an Inside Sales Representative will require the following core qualifications and skills:
Post-Secondary degree in Business, or in a Sales and Marketing program
1-3 years of B2B inside sales or sales operation experience in a consultative selling environment
Understanding of and experience with CRM solutions
Excellent research skills with an ability to ask the right questions to quickly identify potential customer requirements
Ability to establish and build relationships quickly with internal and external partners
Continuously look for ways to improve the way we do business by seeking out alternate solutions and proposing new ideas
Solid understanding of sales cycle, with skills in prospecting, cold calling, objection handling, probing and closing skills
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills (the ability to think creatively)
