We are a specialty bakery and a sandwich shop in Toronto’s east end, baking somun bread throughout the day in our wood-fired oven. We have recently been profiled in Toronto Life Magazine, voted #1 in blogTO's "Best New Cheap Eats in Toronto", and won SilverChef Hospitality Awards 2020 Momentum Award for the largest leap forward in terms of environmental sustainability and conservation.
We have an open kitchen concept and we are looking for full-time kitchen staff, with day time hours and weekend shifts. This position includes working on all stations, including:
The ideal candidates have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a restaurant kitchen. This is a permanent full-time position, please don't apply if you're looking for part-time work.
Previous baking or pizza-making experience is considered a strong asset. You are professional, punctual and motivated, with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality. Your English is flawless and you are comfortable engaging with customers to explain our menu in detail.
We are a green business, and strong preference is given to candidates who live nearby.
