G.S Liner Transport is a company that specializes in freight shipping and logistics services for large and small businesses across Canada and The United States. We specialize in the distribution of products ranging from furniture, appliances, and pharmaceuticals, serving the markets of Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic Provinces, as well as the United States specifically New York on a daily basis.
G.S Liner Transport is looking for a full-time dispatcher to handle outbound and inbound shipment coordination. A dynamic individual that is able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Following up with customer orders from start to end
- Ensuring shipment is procured entirely from pickup to delivery
- Assigning drivers and trucks to customer orders and routes
- Communicating with drivers to plan travel route and and any issues along the trip
- Tracking and Tracing shipments and communicating status with customers
- Creating and following through with ACE/ACI Manifest.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a customer service-oriented role
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve all issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business application
