St Giles Juniors are looking for dynamic and dedicated management staff for their summer schools in 2020. The camp is located on the St Andrews College campus and will run from June 28 - July 26. Training sessions prior are mandatory.
Our goal is to give students an educational, culturally enriching, enjoyable and memorable summer experience in a safe and supervised setting. We only employ people who are willing to accept this responsibility and have the necessary wide-ranging skills, experience and commitment to help us achieve our goal of being the very best junior course provider.
Students have 20 lessons of English a week and participate in a full afternoon and evening programme of activities and excursions. Classes range from beginner to advanced level and follow a theme-based syllabus focusing on language development, project work and communicative competence.
Centre Managers have overall responsibility for the successful running of all aspects of the summer centre, ensuring students are satisfied with their course.
Activity Managers organise and oversee the social programme, making it exciting and engaging. They assist the Centre Manager in the running of the centre.
Center Managers may be required to teach if a teacher is absent or a one to one lesson is required.
The right candidate will be highly organized, have experience working with young learners, perform well under pressure and feel comfortable managing the financial operation of the center as well as managing and scheduling staff.
This is a residential position and room and board is provided. All managers have one evening and the following full day off per week.
