The Role

TKS is looking for business development manager to help generate applications as we scale. Finding the right students to participate is our top priority as we scale, and there are a few different ways we do this: ads, referrals, social media, PR etc... We plan on expanding to 5 cities this year, and we're looking for someone to own arguably the most impactful part of our lead generation funnel - schools and youth organizations. This has been our largest way that we generate applications to date, but need someone to own this function as we scale. In this role, your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

+ Identify schools and student organizations to build relationships with.

+ Reach out and execute on building these relationships.

+ Get these organizations excited enough about the program to share with their students. This will involved writing the email copy, manage CRM campaigns, hopping on the phone and potentially setting up events or webinars.

+ Maintain these relationships and get them to view TKS as an ally and a partner.

The ultimate goal is to generate at least 300 applications/city.

+ 3+ year experience in a sales or business development role.

+ Experience working with Hubspot or a similar CRM and email campaigns.

+ Experience working with G Suite (google docs).

+ Strong English writing skills, with attention to spelling and grammar.

+ Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold calling.

+ Strong copywriting skills and ability to draft authentic and persuasive emails.

+ Great at prioritization.
