Première Bobine Inc. is looking for an experienced Assistant Corporate Controller. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the candidate will also work with other members of the accounting department and other departments as well as supervise 3 Accountants.
Supervise the day to day corporate accounting;
Supervise the complete monthly payables cycle for all corporate companies;
Review all credit card and expense report accounting;
Supervise the monthly bank reconciliations and sales tax reporting;
Prepare the quarterly VAT returns;
Manage sales tax audit (VAT, TPS/TVQ);
Prepare re-bills and fees invoices;
Manage development cost analysis and invoicing;
Prepare financial statements throughout the year and annually for the consolidation;
Assist the Controller with consolidated elimination entries;
Participate in the creation and implementation of internal controls and processes;
Prepare ad hoc analysis, journal entries and reports;
Assist with various corporate filings.
Who You Are:
Experience with PME and multi-companies (Must);
Accounting designation or in the process of completing (Must);
Minimum of 3 years’ experience (Must);
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the supervision of team members (Must);
Detail oriented (Must);
Working knowledge of Microsoft GP (Must);
Ability to quickly adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-growing environment (Must);
Ability to work under pressure (Must);
Strong sense of organization, autonomous, resourceful (Must);
Multicurrency experience (Asset);
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the entertainment industry (Asset);
Bilingual (French and English – both spoken and written);
