Saskatchewan Blue Cross representative for assisting with their needs.


Provide walk-in guests with a positive first impression of the company by greeting them in a timely and professional manner
Manage the flow of walk-in traffic by responding to initial inquiries and directing individuals to the appropriate waiting areas
Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals or departments across the organization
Maintain the presentation and tidiness of the reception and waiting areas
Take and record telephone, e-mail, or written messages for staff members
Take payments, ensure daily reconciliations and deposits are completed
Maintain guest login and observe security practices
Update and maintain records, compile, track, forecast and verify information
Work in a team environment to ensure exceptional customer service is executed effectively
Remain current with product knowledge, trends and technology
Provide administrative support to the team, including the creation of letters, memos, forms, reports, and other documentation as required
Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, copying, stuffing envelopes and other related duties as assigned


Completion of a Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate, and previous customer service experience interacting with the public. A combination of training and experience will be considered.
Previous experience working as a receptionist or in the insurance or health care industry would be considered an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word and Excel with the ability to easily learn new software programs
Demonstrated commitment and passion to excel in the delivery of superior customer service
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective listening and problem-solving skills
Must be service oriented and responsive to customer needs
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required
Strong keyboarding skills
Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
Reliability and punctuality are essential
Availability to work core business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), with a strong commitment to work schedules
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada on an unrestricted basis
