As a Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with the Partners responsible for major accounts as well as the practitioners in said accounts to uncover target accounts’ business issues
Develop new ideas and service opportunities relevant to target issues
Identify, develop and win significant bids and pursuits to meet defined sales target
Lead complex sales pursuits and bring together multidisciplinary practitioners into integrated solutions to deliver winning proposals to clients
Consult with account team and engagement partner on pricing strategy
Develop a network and nurture relationships with our clients’ leadership and influential members.
Consistently focus on driving opportunities that build on our existing relationships, and allow us to leverage these relationships, and develop them into new partnerships.
Connect with key global PwC players by industry and function, to increase your account’s recognition in key geographies where there may be opportunities for growth
Focus on the needs of the client and how can we help them achieve their strategic objectives and projects.
Delivery of services:
Lead or participate, as needed, to delivery engagements and mandates in your specific field or area of relevance.
Coach our practices’ delivery teams on client’s industry
Harvest leading practices and experiences from the network and share industry relevant knowledge to our teams for consideration in realizing their engagements
Education & Experience:
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a series of progressive sales, business development and account management roles, within a professional services firm.
Previous experience in strategy, management consulting and digital transformation and/or systems integration projects.
Deep understanding of the retail and consumer packaged goods industry as well as supply chain management
Established presence within the community
A university education in business/commerce (preferred)
Executive-level communication skills (CEO/COO, VP, etc.)
The ability to communicate effectively, consult with others, develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally, facilitate group discussions, make presentations
Excellent judgment and strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyse and understand the impact of relevant options
High energy and the flexibility to perform under short time constraints to meet deadlines
Exceptional self-starter, both team oriented and able to work autonomously
