This is for anticipatory permanent and term, full time and part time positions.
The Liquor Store Clerk is responsible for customer service; product knowledge, selling skills, operating a computerized POS system, serving the public in the retail sales of liquor, receiving and handling stock, merchandising, maintaining selling floor and back stock, applying surveillance for underage, intoxicated persons and shoplifters, and assisting in janitorial duties.

Considerable experience working in a high retail environment providing customer service
Experience with receiving, validating and stocking incoming inventory
Experience balancing cash and receipts to sales reports
Experience using a computerized POS system

Ability to exercise sound judgment in order to refuse service to intoxicated and/or underage customers
Job Requirements: Wearing safety footware, wearing a uniform provided by Yukon Liquor Corporation, repetitive heavy lifting (up to 40lbs) is required and working Monday to Saturday on a scheduled rotational basis.
