The Role:
This is a challenging opportunity for a customer-focused product leader to successfully deliver on new product introductions in the telecommunications industry.

The Product Manager will report directly to the Senior Product Manager, Calling & Content Services and will work closely with all product, technology and marketing teams to manage the existing portfolio, while defining and launching next generation calling and content services enabled by Bell’s 5G network to drive innovation, significant growth of wireless data revenues and market share. Such services include Voice over LTE, Voice over 5G, Gaming, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Nuisance Calling, Wi-Fi Calling and more. As part of the Calling & Content Services team, you will work with various Bell business units to manage and launch new calling and content services including managing the product roadmap, consumer data connectivity strategies, new OEM enablement, and new technology and services enablement. The candidate will help in identifying and championing growth opportunities that will drive Bell Mobility to maintain a leadership position in calling and content services in Canada.

Performing this role involves experience in spearheading product development and management` activities, including developing product requirements, concept design and testing of new services; preparing business case justification for new product investments; and identifying launch strategies and post-launch support, reporting and analytics with the customer experience being paramount for all activities. As a successful product manager, you will need to effectively build relationships and lead cross-functional teams and work with multiple business units to drive new content service initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance the product strategy, taking into account market conditions, evolving customer needs and competitive offerings to deliver superior products that accelerate revenue growth and market share
Establish and ensure the portfolio achieves defined business objectives including revenue, profitability, subscriber, penetration and usage targets
Lifecycle management of leading services including the enhancement of existing services, reduction of support drivers and management of service and infrastructure evolution
Manage and analyze competitive and customer impacts to services and business within the portfolio; develop new product concepts, business case development and execution to grow lines of business
Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams from various technical, business and marketing disciplines to implement and manage key projects, new service launches and marketing initiatives
Work with marketing teams to promote services, including launch new products, create marketing materials, sales support, etc.
Secure and maintain relationships with best-in-class partners to support product needs, resolve issues and capitalize on growth opportunities
Track and analyze performance of solutions through the various stages of the product lifecycle to help identify opportunities or areas of improvement

Required Competences:
A University degree in business, or technical discipline (such as engineering) with 5 years of previous related experience
The incumbent will bring either Product Management, Product Development &/or Product Marketing experience in the Telecommunications or Technology industries including superior analytical skills, solid business acumen, strong customer focus and experience in working with external partners
It is also expected that this individual has a good understanding of wireless data solutions including networks, applications, and mobile devices or other hardware
Experience in managing teams and resolving issues across multi-discipline functions, and be able to work effectively with virtual and multi-disciplinary teams
Knowledge of existing and emerging OS/wireless technologies (i.e. 5G, LTE, HSPA, Android, iOS, Web Services, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Ability to analyze numeric data to find and communicate trends, patterns and opportunities
Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively and give presentations to various audiences
Ability to adapt and remain focused on priorities under frequently changing market, business and technology conditions while handling multiple requests and deadlines concurrently
Independent and self-motivated
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Strong organizational skills, including ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities
Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT
Knowledge of mobile communications services is an asset
Bilingual: French would be an asset

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
