The incumbent of the position will be responsible for the negotiation of leases, real estate master agreements, and zoning for new or existing telecommunication sites for the Rogers East Deployment Service.

What you will be doing:
Complete contract renewals on a timely basis and based on company and departmental standards.
Obtain landlord approval to install new equipment on existing sites.
Negotiate with municipalities, new and existing landlords and complete the necessary real estate contracts based on company standards.
Complete the necessary documentation related to acquisition of properties and negotiation of contracts, and maintains proper site files based on departmental standards.
Conducts site searches, researches land ownership and prepares documentation to qualify good, potential landlords.
Investigate the zoning requirements of properties, assists in the preparation of permit applications, site plans and other required documentation/presentations for municipal approvals.
Manage numerous projects at one time.
Resolve issues with landlords.
Update tracking reports detailing the projects that are being worked on.

What you have:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration (concentration in real estate and/or urban management), town planning or a related discipline. Any other combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
Three (3) or more years experience in real estate contract negotiation.
Experience in telecommunications is considered as an asset.
Bilingual - able to communicate fluently in both French and English.
Excellent French and English written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proven negotiating ability.
Customer focused and solution oriented.
Computer literate with fluency in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
