Due to our rapid expansion, we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies. This individual will develop goals, strategies, and implementation plans to execute a comprehensive and cohesive marketing campaign for all of our marketing events. The successful candidate will design enhancement and development programs to promote our brand identity and services. Some marketing goals include maintaining our brand integrity and strategically positioning FPS status as industry leader. The successful hire is responsible for ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging that speaks to our community at large. The successful hire will also responsible for the launch and management of new products, services and associated brands to meet profitability goals through effective marketing programs. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, completing communication programs within the specific deadlines. The individual will manage the team for their project completion, budget and success. The individual will also be responsible for completing various internal communications and completing the annual internal communications development plan for the company in alignment all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. Ultimately, this person conveys the company’s marketing and development direction and will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

Be hands on in delivering external and internal communications to our customers, employees, industry and media to positively impact the external brand image, identity and promotion, communicate messages and drive sales.
Initiate research, development, and implementation of new marketing programs, including direct mail, internet marketing, workshops, advertisement, sales tools and other initiatives
Create, implement, and manage marketing communications activities to generate product awareness and brand identity to drive opportunities, create leads and stimulate sales
Ensure all products and services confirm to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management
Collaborate with both inside and outside sales representatives to identify customer needs
Provide support and tools to sales managers and other sales staff that will drive sales within their areas
Work with designs, writers, editors and other creative staff to produce marketing collateral in accordance with brand messages
Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media platforms that attracts and converts our target groups
Build relationships and interact effectively with managers and externally with suppliers, agencies, partners and customers
Monitor, evaluate, and report on competitor activities, make recommendations base on findings/opportunities discovered
Organize promotional events at trade shows and other venues, coordinating with staff to ensure prompt delivery of materials and merchandise
Develop, manage and execute an annual strategic marketing and communications plans to span across all communication media (online and offline) and reach appropriate target audiences, base upon specific performance goals
Evaluate the success of various communication strategies and provide and implement recommendations for improvement
Proactively provide innovation across all communications vehicles being used (online and offline) and provide competitive insight into its communications and branding strategies
Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions within budgetary constraints
Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies to enhance the marketing /communications works of the company
Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and company merchandise
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Ensure that all materials are developed and distributed according to an appropriate timeline
Oversees the development, management and maintenance of all online communications vehicles, including but not limited to:
FPS company website
Emails
Online social media (including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN, blogs, etc)
Plan and manage external communications effort with public relatons consultant, including but not limited to, publicity for special events
Attend company programmatic event as available
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales & Marketing and President

Qualifications & Abilities

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Sales, Journalism, or Business Administration, or related field
Ability to travel and work irregular hours, including some evenings and weekends
Proven work experience in the private sector to including the handling of corporate communications, original writing and editing and some public relations.
Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
Proven track record in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing, Internet marketing, and direct marketing programs.
Direct experience with graphic design, web page, and other marketing-related software tools
Demonstrated proficiency in Internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions
Breadth of working knowledge and past experience in publishing with print and web-media (magazine, newsletters, journals)
Experience managing freelancers and contractors
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Experience with creating a marketing campaign, marketing strategy, and marketing plan
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly adapt to change
