The Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage Team as an F & B Outlets Supervisor. Are you passionate about providing exceptional guest experience? If your answer is “Yes”, we would like to meet you.
The successful candidate must be a true service professional committed to the highest levels of guest satisfaction. This position will focus on the supervision of the restaurant, lounge, room service, mini bars and some assistance with Banquets when needed.
Responsibilities: • Implements Company's high level of standards throughout the F&B leadership and service teams, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenues • Ensures all laws and regulations pertaining to the food service industry and hotel policies and procedures are adhered to • Assists in constantly seeking creative ways to improve service and increase overall F&B revenues and profitability • Successful problem solver for both guests/customers and colleagues concerns • Assists in training, developing, scheduling and supervising of F&B service staff • Provides strong leadership through positive reinforcement, training, and coaching • Assists with managing labour expenses within productivity guidelines • Assists in developing and implementing short term goals and strategies to achieve objectives and motivate employees • Motivates employees and develops strong channels of communication by maintaining good relations and encouraging team spirit and empowerment • Leads a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the highest quality experience is provided to guests/customers
Job Requirements: • Two years previous Food & Beverage leadership experience in a comparable unionized hotel environment preferred • Point of Sale system experience is an asset • College Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage preferred • Dedicated to providing excellent guest/customer service • Excellent communication and people skills required • Ability to lead and motivate employees • Knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and an understanding of culinary terms • Smart Serve certification is required • Presentable and well-groomed • Flexible schedule (AM, PM, weekends and holidays) • Enthusiastic customer service attitude with attention to detail • Strong Team player • Maintains integrity, dependability and accountability
Shifts are 6 am to 3 pm or 2:30 pm to 12 midnight, days off vary
