  • Banking: Accept bill payments and pay on-line tax payments, reconcile bank accounts
  • Payroll: Prepare payroll (bi-weekly), prepare deductions at source remittances (twice/month), set up procedure for new employees and prepare ROE for terminated employees

HST filing, prepare T4’s year-end

  • HST remittances (quarterly)
  • Assist with year-end preparation

Qualifications:

  • College graduate or Trade School certificate in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills required, especially with Excel
  • Strong organization skills
  • Great communication in English
  • Experience with Telpay Payroll Systems

Flexible 6.5 hour Work Day offered (800 - 400 pm Monday thru Friday) plus one 'on call weekend' in 5)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 to $24.00 /hour

Experience:

  • bookkeeping/accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Payroll: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Preferred)
