One for

Store Manager

and the other for

Assistant Manager.

The Assistant Manager duties are very similar to the Store Manager and must have great bike knowledge, extensive experience in Sales and fill in as Assistant Store Manager when the Store Manager has day's off.

Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overall operation and performance of all aspects of the store. The Store Manager is responsible for executing BSP’s strategy and providing strong leadership to all of BSP’s store sales and service teams. The Store Manager drives sales, wage budgets and bottom line results by leading and developing a “rock star” sales and service team through creating an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, continuous development and high performance to deliver superior customer experiences.

Responsibilities: -

- Maintaining the bicycle culture and high quality service provided by the store

  • Follows and ensures BSP Policies and Procedures are adhered to by everyone at all times
  • Ensuring daily operations like inventory control, customer service, sales and repairs run smoothly
  • Ongoing training, development and support for Staff on sales and products
  • Maintaining a clean and well organised store
  • Keeping yourself updated on Bicycle events around Vancouver and up and coming bicycle trends
  • Creating and encouraging a positive and fun atmosphere between all Staff and customers
  • Making a Staff schedule timeously
  • Updating Management on all aspects
  • Clearly communicating relevant duties to all Staff

  • Be passionate about athletics and lead/promote a healthy active lifestyle, Have a good knowledge of Bicycles and accessories
  • Be a correct fit for our Business culture
  • Knowledge of retail industry gained through 3+ years of progressively responsible roles
  • 2 Years Store Management level in a large volume speciality store
  • Knowledge of Ascend computer system and Trek University would be beneficial
  • Have excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Exercise sound judgement and action good business decisions
  • Be strong willed, pro-active and motivate all staff to offer high quality customer service and be forthcoming with ideas to increase sales
  • Have excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
